Retrieval: Retrieval via the Java GUI

The Lemur Retrieval GUI is a Java-based executable that allows simple querying and retrieval into an index. After installing and setting up the Lemur Retrieval GUI, and running it, press the "open" button and browse to the directory where your index is at. Once the index is opened, you can type in a query in the query box and press "search". The GUI will issue the search and return the results in the window below.

From the "Program" menu, you can select the options dialog box to set various options. These include the display of the search results, as well as the various retrieval methodologies and settings to use.
