Toolkit Usage Overview

To use the toolkit, you can use the applications that come with it, or, if you need a solution that is more tailored to your needs, you can create an application yourself linking to the Lemur Toolkit library. Since the toolkit is open-source, you can also extend the current capabilities of the Lemur Toolkit libraries to suit your needs as well - for example, to try out a new retrieval method and see how it compares against the ones included with the toolkit.
